This page explains how Justax.in ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data, and sets out the terms related to payments, refunds, and cancellations for our services. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to the practices described here.

Note: This policy is written to align with Indian laws including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). It is intended as a general policy for clients and visitors of Justax.in.

1) Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy applies to information collected through our website Justax.in, our subdomains, forms, WhatsApp communications, emails, and during client onboarding and service delivery.

1.1 Data we collect

  • Identity & Contact: name, firm name, PAN, Aadhaar (where legally required), email, phone, address.
  • Professional/Financial: business details, GSTIN, CIN, IEC, invoices, bank references (masked where possible), and documents required for tax/compliance engagements.
  • Usage & Technical: IP address, device/browser, pages visited, referral source, time-on-page, and similar analytics.
  • Communications: messages shared via forms, email, WhatsApp, or support channels; call notes for service quality.
  • Payment Data: transaction IDs, UPI refs, partial card digits (tokenized), payment status (processed by our payment partners; we do not store full card data).

1.2 How we use data

  • To provide tax, accounting, audit, and advisory services you request;
  • To verify identity and comply with applicable laws (e.g., KYC/AML, GST, Income-tax, DPDP Act);
  • To manage invoices, payments, and client accounts;
  • To improve our website, security, and user experience (analytics and performance monitoring);
  • To send service updates, statutory reminders, and transactional communications.

Legal bases: Consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests (service improvement, security, record-keeping).

1.9 Children’s data

Our services are intended for adults and business users. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us for deletion.

1.10 International transfers

Some processors or cloud services may store data outside India. Where applicable, we ensure adequate safeguards such as contractual clauses, access controls, and minimization.

2) Payment & Refund Policy

This section governs payments made to Justax.in for professional services (e.g., tax filings, audits, registrations, advisory). By making a payment, you agree to these terms.

2.1 Pricing & billing

  • Prices are quoted before work commencement and may vary based on scope, urgency, and complexity.
  • Where estimates are provided, final charges may differ after scope confirmation. Any change is communicated for approval.
  • Certain services may require advance/retainer payments. Work starts after realization unless otherwise agreed.

2.2 Accepted payment methods

  • UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Cards (via our payment partners), and bank transfer/NEFT/RTGS.
  • We may share a payment link/QR. Do not pay unknown accounts claiming to represent us.
  • Digital receipts/acknowledgments are issued for successful payments.

2.3 Invoices, taxes & GST

  • Tax invoices show description of services, GST rate/SAC (if applicable), and our GSTIN where required.
  • For intra/inter‑state supplies, we charge CGST+SGST or IGST as applicable under GST law.
  • Convenience/processing fees (if any) will be disclosed before checkout/payment.

2.4 Cancellations

Requests for cancellation should be emailed/raised on our support channel with the payment reference and reason. Cancellation is feasible only if work has not substantially commenced or statutory filings have not been submitted.

2.5 Refunds

  • If we are unable to deliver the agreed service due to our reasons and work has not substantially commenced, we may issue a full/partial refund at our discretion.
  • Government fees, third‑party charges, and taxes already paid are generally non‑refundable.
  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days (bank processing times may vary).
Examples (for clarity)
  • Refundable: You paid an advance but later scope is found unserviceable by us before starting the work.
  • Partially refundable: You cancel after initial review/consultation; time‑cost may be deducted.
  • Not refundable: Statutory filing already made or government fees paid on your behalf.

2.6 Chargebacks & disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us first. Unwarranted chargebacks may lead to suspension of services. We cooperate with payment partners to resolve disputes.
